Chairman’s Message
It’s my pleasure to welcome you to the website of The Omani Association for Intellectual Property, hoping that you can now find on its pages whatever you want in terms of enriching knowledge and adequate information. The Omani Intellectual Property Society has been set up by His Excellency Sheikh, Minister of Social Development’s Decision no. 169/2017 dated 26 December 2017 to publicize the Society and register its statutes in the Ministry’s Register of Associations under the number: 118/2017.

Requirements for Membership
- Must not be below 21 years of age.
- Must be of good character and conduct.
- Must be university educated.
- Should undertake in writing to respect the system of the Society.
- Must have the desire to serve the Society and its objectives.
- Must be concerned with the intellectual property affairs and developments and willing to benefit from the goals of the Society.
- A member should be fully prepared to engage in all events and activities undertaken by the Society.
